"This hotel truly lives up to its name of being Grand! It's huge and is quite exclusive but close enough to the main part of the city. It offered a free shuttle thought the day to get to Yuanshan MRT station or you can climb down from the side of the hill the hotel is located on and reach the Jiantan MRT station. This historic hotel makes you feel like you are living like a Chinese noble and yet you also feel like you're living in a museum because of its legacy with Chiang's family. Highly recommend! "

"The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is very well located near the Taipei MRT station. The room was spacious, quiet and well appointed. My only suggestions would be that the hotel should have available for viewing by English speaking guests a copy of the Taipei Times. Also, the TV channel selection could be better for English speaking guests. But I would [will!] stay here again when I return to Taipei."

"Clean hotel with a lounge on the second floor to get a (very) light breakfast, coffee and tea (24 hours) and can eat take out food. Conveniently near a metro station and restaurants nearby. All of the employees were vey helpful, especially Annie at the front desk who always had helpful hints for us. Thanks so much!"
