"VIA Taipei Station Hotel is my choice of hotel each time I visit Taiwan. I have stayed in this hotel more than 6 times. In my recent stay (11 to 18 Feb, 2025), something did not changed. All the staff including counter staff, room cleaners and general cleaners are all very friendly, helpful and is always ready to attend to queries and needs. "Good location, not far from main train station. Good setup, keyed entries, luggage storage, polite people at reception, not big, but I didn’t expect it to be. Good lighting options in the room."

"Cons: Cleanliness of the room, particularly bathroom, can definitely be improved on. Would also appreciate having the dryer repaired in the facility so travellers can do laundry within the hotel. Pros: very convenient area with the biggest station nearby within walking distance to get around the city of Taipei. Many food/dine options and convenient stores for those late night cravings. The infamous Ximending is only a 15 minutes walk for me ;)"
