"A good stopover for birders! After our fun birding day, we wanted a simpler stay for our 3rd night of our Northern Migration, and this was a "just right" nice find. It's exactly as promised: nice clean room with comfortable king bed and pillows. Reception was professional and pleasant. Other guests were respectful and pleasant. The next morning I had a nice chat with the owner's wife, talking of all they had done to keep the place clean and in working order, even to keeping the back windows...

"This facility is an older building that has been relatively well maintained. All appliances functioned although the refrigerator was old and ran continuously. City water has a mild sulpher taste and guests are offered bottled water for drinking. We didn't try the morning breakfast, but went to a really nice coffee shop a block away. Bed was comfortable and there were bedside tables with reading lamps. For a small, rural town, this is a decent place to stay. "

"The room was very large with was nice. Unfortunately, the doors made a lot of noise when they closed. People above us woke up with stomping on the floor. The Wifi was not up to what we have experienced before. We've never had to download an app to get wifi and our amazon stick with all out programs always worked, but it didn't here. When technology improving everyday, even airplanes are sometimes asking us to bring out own tablet to watch tv. On the other hand, the staff did come up to help me...
