A very kind Douglas checked me in and what a super kind person they were! They answered all my questions about the area and gave me additional suggestions which I appreciated. We also had an amazing dinner in the bar while listening to live music - all on a Monday night! We’ll be back!

This was our second time staying at the National and we absolutely love it. We stayed her last when we celebrated our wedding in 2023, just down the road at Stone House, and wanted to return to the place where we celebrated our special day! It's great having Lola and the Nash attached to the hotel, and it's dog friendly, which makes it so great to be able to bring our dog with us. The only challenge we had during this stay was that our fridge began leaking water out of nowhere, and we aren't sure if anyone came to tend to the problem after we called to let the front desk know. There was still water when we returned from our day out. Outside of that, everything was great and we look forward to coming back!

Class and History Collide
National Exchange is gem in gold county. The rooms are amazing, the restaurant is fantastic, and the bar is legendary. The entire experience is worth the stay, I found myself constantly surprised by the quality of everything. The service, the coffee, everything is great. I believe this hotel will get a 4th star rating in the years to come.
