"Greta location, 10-15 mins walk into the city centre. Very warm welcome from the chap at the hotel. Couldn’t do enough for us. Room was spotless, tea and coffee facilities. Hotels.com advertise a free breakfast but they don’t do this anymore. Not an issue for us but could probably be updated. "This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15...

"Pleasant staff to greet you on arrival. Ample car parking and in a convenient location for the very close by Park and Ride into the city centre. Beds very comfortable and rooms very warm. Couldn’t open my windows for fresh air, but as I was only staying two nights I didn’t bother to ask. I would definitely stay again. "

"A nice warm welcome from the owners. Great family room with bunk beds for the kids. Nice and clean too. Great location for heading into York. Just around 10 minutes walk from the minster etc. "
