"It was a last minute booking. The hotel is old but the rooms are super clean. The staff are amazing. So polite and accommodating. Definitely value for money. I left my Samsung tablet behind and the staff were amazing in helping me get it back. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The location was good, the price was right and the staff was great. However, there was no AC and the bed frames were very noisy and shook quite a bit getting in and out, and if you moved at all. Also, they did not supply towels, but you could buy one for $8. As far as hostels go, I would recommend it compared to what else is out there "

"I spent a few nights at the Asylum Sydney and can recommend this hostel although its furniture is a bit long in the tooth. That i enjoyed my stay is primarily due to the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful and the mix of the guests was very pleasant and due to the small size of the hostel you easy make contact with other guests. Other benefits are plugs for every bunk, locker on the room and free but simple breakfast."
