"Good value for money at this price point. Building is old, but well maintained and clean. Room has the smallest toilet and shower facilities that I’ve seen outside of SE Asia. However, for a simple one or two night stay it is fine. "

"Hostel itself is good, they have a lot of activities every night. Many people staying at the hostel were doing group tours which made it a bit difficult to meet people since many already had groups when just solo traveling. Great location, close to the bus stop, stores, and central train. "

"Kingsgrove Hotel is a pub/bistro with refurbished accommodation upstairs. The check in staff was lovely, she was fast and helpful. Room was basic, updated but on the smaller side although perfect for one night and location to airport (the reason I was staying) so convenient. Rain shower was hot, bed was comfortable, aircon and ceiling very handy as.warm summer's day. Although room was soundproofed there was music noise from downstairs until approx. 10.30pm (it was a Saturday night after all) but...

"The Rocks YHA in particular, is fantastic, with very helpful staff (highly knowledgeable about things to do, costs and timetables of transit), great options, great views and clean, comfortable, straightforward accommodations! The YHA system in Australia is second to none! Well done Australia! "
