"A lovely place run by a very nice couple. They prioritised cleaning our room to ensure we could check in early to get ready for a wedding. We had a cozy double and although small was great for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing too. All in all, a lovely place to stay (with the added advantage of onsite parking in the centre of Windermere) "

"Really nice hotel, spa was nice. The suites could use some upgrades (the windows) there was water between the glass panels so the view couldn’t be enjoyed as much as it should have been. Especially when the heat was on full as it was -3 and it was just cloudy window panes. "

"Jo, the host who are very nice and friendly. Location is in the town centre, few minutes walk from the train station. The property is aged, but Jo maintain everything in good condition and tidy. "The Elleray is pub/hotel it’s a traditional old building with sash windows, a dining area/lounge, bar and an outdoor beer garden. For the age and style of the building it was very clean in the rooms and public areas. The rooms are comfortable with a big telly, tea/coffee etc. The staff were excellent and friendly and helpful, the food was excellent as well and very tasty.
