"Quiet rooms and friendly staff. My check-in was delayed by an hour but they compensated me for this inconvenience without me needing to negotiate. One thing to keep in mind is that parking fees are additional to your stay at £18 per 24 hours; limited parking on-site so you need to use the adjacent carparks. Although this is mentioned in the small print it caught out severest guests who made their feelings known to staff who handled it well. You should also note it is situated on roads where a clean air charge is enforced at £15 per day (if your vehicle is non-compliant) making the stay even more expensive. "

After checking out, we planned to explore the city and asked if we could leave our luggage behind, as it would have been too much to carry around. Without hesitation, the staff happily accommodated our request, assuring us that we could return at any time to collect it. Their genuine kindness and helpfulness truly stood out.
