"We had a fabulous stay at the Gainsborough. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. "Hotel was clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor pool and sauna/steam room facilities. Check in and out was straightforward. Grounds were lovely. We didnā€™t have dinner at the hotel but it is well situated and easy walking distance to the centre. Breakfast was disappointing as took over half an hour to come, was not very big (mushroom was only half a slice!) and toast had gone cold as was served when we sat down so had to ask some more. Staff were attentive and professional....

Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet.
