"We had a very nice room - but there are some that are no so great so you have to be careful. they are very friendly. Only downside is you cannot check in early and that is tough flying overseas because all flights arrive int he morning."

If traveling as an American, you might find that top flat sheets are not common. We requested one additional one with staff, and they were lovely to work with. Friendly and helpful! "We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Princess Victoria. The staff from minute one to the end were nothing short of attentive and hospitable. The meals were excellent in the pub and the deals were something to take advantage of. As this was our “base” in London, the easy walk (or even bus ride) to shepherd’s bush and then literally anywhere provided us with what we needed. While we were here for our daughter’s wedding, we did get in some local football, niche restaurants, and intriguing museums....
