"My son and I have stayed at the Ayres Hotel Carlsbad several times. When my son was very young, we stayed there when we were visiting Legoland. Now that my son is 10, we stay there because he has ice hockey games in Carlsbad. We bring our dog because the fee for her is really reasonable. The hot breakfast is the best I've found so far! We love staying at Ayres. Susan K."

"We loved our week stay at Vista Inn, clean rooms & comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Refrigerator, microwave & a couch. Location was great. Good night manager, very accommodating and friendly. I would suggest a change of towels every other day if not done daily..parking was great. Would definitely return for the holidays."
