"Everything that was written in previous reviews was spot on. The house was beautiful as well as the beach. We had smaller children and a teenager and everyone was able to enjoy! Andrew and Kim were so very helpful before and during the trip if we needed anything. We had them cook the first night for us and the food was delicious!"

"Valerie is absolutely the best host!!! What an amazing place to stay! My wife and I stayed at one of her cottages for a week and couldn't have been happier we picked this place. The location was perfect: half way between George Town for shopping/eating and the best remote beaches on Little Exuma, and easy kayak access to the Lazy River. The cottage itself was quaint and simple yet had everything we needed. The screened porch was our daily morning coffee spot with a peaceful million dollar view overlooking Moriah Harbor Cay National Park. One of the property highlights was the solar-heated in-ground pool. After a day of salty beaching, the pool was very refreshing. But the #1 most memorable thing about staying here was Valerie. We planned to arrive on a Sunday evening and Valerie let us know that the stores would be closed. She offered to pickup groceries for us ahead of time. We had fresh fruits, some breakfast items, wine, and beer waiting for us at the cottage upon our arrival. Throughout the week, Valerie periodically checked on us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. She lent us a few sundry items, gave us great advice on places to visit (she's been a local since the 60's), and engaged in pleasant conversations. Sure you could pay more for a swankier vacation rental but you wouldn't get this level of charm and hospitality. My wife and I both felt like we were visiting our favorite aunt in paradise and can't wait to come back again!!"

"Our stay at Silver Palms Retreat was perfect! The house was very clean and well stocked and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the pool and the beach is a 2 min walk away. We can’t wait to come back again!"

"We loved our time at Bayview Villas in Exuma. We stayed approximately 2 weeks in Villa no. 1 and were really impressed with the accommodation. It was extremely clean and the kitchen had everything one could possibly need. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the outside pagoda was a great addition to enjoy the stunning views. Everything was as per the photos and better. Charlie is a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. We also rented Charlie's boat for 3 days to explore the surrounding cays as well as a car to visit Exuma's beaches. We will definitely be back!"

"You have to have realistic expectations about this island. This is a 3 Star Hotel that can easily become 4 with a few small changes. Changes: slightly friendly front desk assistance, working stove at the cottages, working fan in living room at cottages. ability to charge to your room while being at the Beach Club. We weee staying at the cottages but had to have our Credit / Debt Card to close out tabs each individual day. The breeze was great but it would have been nice for the big fan to work. Fan and AC in the room worked great. We were told that renovations were going on at the Cottages at Stocking Island but the pictures are the same online as they have been for a year. No worries , feel slightly mislead but it’s ok. This is still a better place to stay than most and staying on Stocking Island with minimal people at night was a must for this trip. Staff is friendly but the star of the show is the Bell Hop with the deep voice and both Boat Drivers.they weee all extremely nice and welcoming. Willing to drop off and pick up outside or normal boat / ferry hours. Never seemed to wait more than 29 minutes to catch a ride to and trim stocking island. They all made for an amazing experience. We will come back but hope for actual renovations on sticking island. "

"Easy check in process. Richard and Shauna provided great communication and were very helpful. Location, Location, location….best there is. Right at ToC beach with a great view. Air conditioning was ice cold and well equipped house. Bottled water is already in the house. Haven’t seen anyone mention this..we called it the “Shake Shack” is about 40 yards away. Little stand that has burgers, conch fritters, beer, fruity drinks, etc. Made it perfect for our two stay at home beach days. The upper deck of Osprey is awesome, especially on windy beach days. Could still enjoy the view and read my book. Good dining choices close by about 2-3 miles east of Osprey house, including a great little homemade pastry shop. Great comfortable beach chairs and two perception kayaks (top quality) with life vests. Kayak out to the two Cays offshore for great exploration…beach, wildlife, cool cuts and caves. Recommend at a minimum, an awd car. We got a Subaru Outback. Queens Hwy is OK, but gets progressively worse as you go South. The road in off QH requires a higher clearance vehicle.
