"The food in their restaurant was less to be desired. Their private island was closed and as a guest of the hotel we are charged a fee upon checkin which is an additional fee to the reservations for items related to visiting the private island I.e., beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boat taxi service to and from the island. We were charged the full price even though the hotel had closed the island."

"If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. "Everything you need, if a little dated. Good beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen, large fridge. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, good out door furniture. We thought it was on the beach, but is about 3 mins walk away. The best beach in the Caribbean and Sandy’s bar on the beach really makes it! Internet and wifi very intermittent and power goes out often. The road in is rough but doable, main shopping in Georgetown, and Santanas bar is a good local place not far away. "
