"This Hotel Was Everything "

"Perfect location, friendly staff. Hotel could do with more attention to detail on finer details. For example on my balcony the wall had been painted but the masking tape was still there. The shower drain was so slow to drain the water it would often flood the bathroom floor. Housekeeping only change bins and sheets but do not mop the floors. I stayed for a week and any issue I had was fixed quickly. More options for breakfast would be great, like more cereals, pastries and fruit"

"My elderly mother and I have just returned from our third stay in five years at the Shangri-La Dubai, and once again, it was a flawless experience from start to finish. We had access to the Horizon Club, which continues to exceed expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by staff who remembered us from our previous visit in 2024—a truly personal touch that meant a lot. The Premier Room was spacious, beautifully maintained. The bathroom featured a large shower and a relaxing jacuzzi bath. The Horizon Club Lounge offers a relaxing environment for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour, all with impeccable service and a great atmosphere. We dined at the hotel on four evenings, enjoying exquisite meals at Shang Palace and Dunes Café. While both were excellent, Dunes Café truly stood out. As a fish lover, the Fish Night was a highlight—an incredible selection and attentive chefs who explained every dish. The freshness and variety were outstanding. Special thanks to the amazing Horizon Club team: Keith, Kopila, Nikhil, Zineb, Janeth, and Saw—your hospitality made our stay so memorable. We also appreciated the warm service from Waqas and Francis in the lobby and Nishal from housekeeping. We highly recommend the Shangri-La Dubai to anyone looking for comfort and outstanding service. It continues to be our home away from home, and we look forward to returning soon. "
