"It was a nice hotel to stay for a long weekend. The description says the rooms are sound proof but I disagree with this, the traffic noise from outside was really quite loud in our room, it woke us multiple times during our stay. Similarly the description also suggests there is a ‘pillow menu’, not sure what that is, we had a choice of a harder memory foam pillow or a soft one, that was the extent of the menu. "This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel. Very good location for West Berlin whilst also a lovely walk to the East side. Hotel very clean, breakfast variety is very good, however, the ‘hot’ food selection was good but cold every morning (we had breakfast for 3 mornings). Not sure why as I’m sure it was all hot and fresh last year. "

"The SO/ Das Stue staff are nice, amenable, and lovely. They are so willing to make you feel at home. I was genuinely amazed by their beautiful attitude. We would go back. Highly recommended"
