"First off the staff was SUPER friendly!! Check in was a breeze. The hotel was just average. For the price we paid in off season, it was what I expected. The bed was amazingly comfortable to my surprise, as were the pillows. As long as I have a comfortable bed and pillows much else doesn't matter to me. Now for my husband, it's a different story. The kitchenette makes this room look and feel extremely outdated, as does the carpet. Toss out the outdated "safe" while you're at it. OH and the tv,...

"Very clean and reasonably priced. Ample parking. I should have requested a handicap room because mine had no handrails or anything else to hold onto in the shower. The room decor is modern with sharp corners, something I've become wary of in my old age. Will stay here again in the future, probably."

"We ended up staying during Helene. The location provided some much-needed safety and quiet during the chaos. The owner and even the neighbors did their best to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We did not end up getting to enjoy the amenities on location due to a power outage but will be back once they are in a better place as a community to support these lovely people. "

"This was one of the best Christmases we have ever had. We spent most of our time there in the cabin with the fireplace. We brought a small Christmas tree and decorated the cabin. It was really nice to look in from the hot tub and see it all. This was the second time we have been there, and the cabin is always well kept up and clean. The ladies do an awesome job maintaining it. we will definitely be coming back."
