"One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The bathrooms are so cute, with blue tiles on the walls and copper pipes that make it look antique. Lots of privacy with curtains at your own bed, your own reading light and outlets. The hostel workers are fantastic. They host daily activities or meals. "We were able to unload our bags in the hotel's loading bay then we went and parked our car in the car park they have an arrangement with: that all worked out fine. Our room was decorated in a slightly ...whacky style. Maybe more design over substance particularly in the bathroom where more shelving would be useful for toiletry bags. "I chose to pay a premium to stay here because of the pool and hot tub, but sadly the pool area was a bit gross - grubby, slightly murky water and the hot tub was "temporarily" out of action for repair, but looked like it had been in that state for a while with a missing tile and filthy inside. I only swam once in a 2 night stay where i normally would swim twice a day. The room was good, bed was a bit hot due to the latex mattress. Shower was just OK. Great location but not worth the extra 30%...
