"The Wellington Intercontinental Hotel was impeccable beginning with the concierges meeting us upon our arrival to the maids who took care of us. The hotel was well located in the downtown area which was readily accessible to area points of interest in a very walkable area of downtown. We will definitely stay here when we return th Wellington. "

"We really liked the front desk woman she was wonderful ,however they had run out of milk and were going to get us some but none arrived ,to be fair we were only there for one night so not a big deal . The property is in dire need of some ongoing maintenance ,ie walls where fixtures have been moved have holes in , carpet and mats ragged in places ,entry doors and windows to rooms have not been cleaned since goodness’s knows when ."

"Great access to the Botanical Gardens. A good loop walking tour is to walk along to the cable car. Take it up to the top and then explore the museum, and various trails and gardens back down to the Hotel through the old cemetery. "

"Loved the room, only downside was it the noise levels in the morning. Car parking was pretty tight too."
