"The hofel is beautiful. Situated on the sea front with some awesome views. The room was absolutely spotless and lovely and warm. The complimentary wine was a very nice touch. The only downside for me, personally, was the mattress was very hard and unforgiving but if you like a firm bed you'll love these. All in all a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay again. "We turned up very early at 10:30 and asked on the off-chance if we could pay to park earlier as we had to go to a dance comp at winter gardens. Not only were we able to park early but also check in at this time rather than the 10pm check in we were expecting after our dance comp. Also the parking was such good value at £7 and it’s a locked gates carpark with CCTV. The staff from start to finish were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. "We stayed for my friends wedding and the staff were AMAZING! They really couldn't do enough for us. The food was really good in the restaurant, breakfast and during the wedding. The rooms were spacious and clean, I would certainly recommend for a 1 night stay. The decor is a little tired and dated but the areas were very clean. If they updated the door locks to key cards, soundproofed the rooms a little and modernised the decor it would be a superb 5 star hotel. "
