"Location is a bit outside the main part of the town, but very walkable. I think it was 15 minutes to the edge of the shopping/dining area. Great town! We rented a studio, and it was what I expected for a holiday park...dated, but very clean. It was comfortable, and I would stay again, because everything else in Te Anau was way more expensive. The property has great facilities for campers!!"

"Spent two nights here, bracketing a day trip to Milford Sound. Arrowtown is cute, historic (with an extensive and excellent historical museum), small, friendly and intimate community. The cottage we had, two bedrooms (and two en-suite bathrooms!) was comfortable, roomy and we’ll equipped. Great beds and bedding, gardens, very quiet at night. Owner was helpful and outgoing with every inquiry we had. Compared to bustling, modern and impersonal Queenstown it was heaven. NO complaints, relaxed...
