"We enjoyed the location, except for the lack of parking spaces. The rooms were good, but the coffee bags provided should probably be at least two for a room for two. It was a quick five minute walk to the Kawarau River track which is great."

"The Lakeside rooms have a beautiful view of the lake. Offerings at the restaurant/bar were enjoyable and creative. Somewhat limited selection for lunch/dinner but we had four different mains and all were excellent. We parked in the underground garage which has limited parking although not a problem finding spots during the end of March. Mattress in bed was very nice for sleeping and all the other amenities were good. No microwave in the room type I chose, I think it was the only stay in NZ without a microwave."

"The staff were amazing, especially Richard, who really looked after us. It would be good if their was either a shop or some options for lunch. The shopping centre is a long way to go to pick up a sandwich "
