"This Historic location was so convenient to the trolley, the arts center, the gardens and restaurants. Parking was available on the property. Steve and Jackie were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly in spite of our late arrival from the transalpine train. "Easy to organise, nice room and shared spaces. Fridge organized for multiple rooms was good. Hot tub is good also. Walkable to cafes and shops. Only negatives.. no desk, in case you need to work or use a laptop. My wife found the sheets a little itchy."

"The hotel was very comfortable and clean and very close to the town while providing a quiet respite from the busier touristy area. The manager who greeted us was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but sufficient."

"Great vineyard location. We had big room right next to the vines! As part of the stay there is a complementary wine tasting and a shared hot tub! E-bike hire is available to explore the multiple vineyards in Gibbston. Restaurant on site is good - but closes quite early - however grazing boxes are available or there is an oven/ hob in the rooms "

"Room was wonderful. Loved the daily muffins. It is a steep climb to the property from downtown. Good hike or take a cab back. Very comfy bed. Limited kitchen access but was able to use microwave w owner’s permission. "
