"The owner, Koji, was helpful and kind. No frills place but it clean, some amenities and a good, hot shower. Good value and we’d definitely stay there again. "

"Hello. I was able to extend my stay by two weeks but I had to contact the management company directly. The people were nice and the process was relatively painless. To do this through Expedia would’ve been more troublesome, I think. The part about GGH that I did not like was when the cleaning staff would come in a clean things up. "Great location for Nara main attractions. Easy to find restaurants, next to a market, short walk to Nara Park. The place is new, easy to find and easy to use in general. Few things could be improved. Check in instructions were sent in Japanese only and we needed some codes to access the place so it wasn’t straight forward. "It is close to a JR station and a metro station, convenient to get around Osaka and to places outside Osaka. The area is also quiet, the room is clean and appliances provided were thoughtful and useful. There are also food places nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

Sky spa was amazing touch to this hotel

"It was great! No complaints over here. The sky spa is absolutely amazing and nice touch to the hotel that was right on the river. It even had a great coffee cafe down stairs on the first floor that was a wine bar. Also the lounge access allowed you to drink for free and snack for free which was really nice when trying to plan things or have a break from walking around. "

"Hotel is basically opposite USJ, so easy walk. Hotel was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was set out very well and had everything we needed. Amenities were eco friendly which is good to see. Our room looked out over the bay and was gorgeous. Have stayed here before because it’s a great hotel!!!!"
