"The Motor Lodge got taken over by Hyatt a while back and the change has been all to the good. The grounds are nicely taken care of, everything is clean, and the pools are excellent. Bonus points for pour-over coffee gear in the room. "

"Lovely property. Rooms are large and comfortable. The closet/bathroom door combo is a nice aesthetic, but given the weight of the door, a handle on the interior would be nice to have. The other odd thing is the width of the tile around the bathtub/shower (which needs to be cleared to get into the shower). It's high and wide, creating an opportunity for a slippery accident. The gym was equipped with enough items to provide a good workout. Wit and Wisdom is excellent and don't miss the truffle fries at Benicia. Easy to walk to downtown (1.1 miles) and appreciate the ability to self park without additional charges."

"I love this property - the spa, infrared sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, regular pools, taco bar, Shante at front desk, the rooms, the EV chargers, the bikes. my only complaint was that i left my credit card during my trip at the main restaurant and no one notified me - despite having my exact name on the card - which would be expected at this high end of a resort."
