"We used Arkle Cottage as our base which was good for visiting the surrounding area.Plenty choice of eateries in Amble all within walking distance of the residence.Completely enclosed rear garden which was good for our dogs "

"Lovely property but needs a little TLC. For instance curtain in lounge half hanging off, no lock for front bathroom door, loads of lightbulbs not working, video game not working holes in wall in bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Having said this the beds were comfortable, lots of space for 10 people and hot tub a great bonus. Nothing to spoil the holiday but just a few niggles."

"No working Wi-Fi for smart tvsSocket hanging off the wall Sofa has broken springs and sharp Dust all over Kitchen unclean, grease up walls Light fitting in front bedroom hanging off wires exposed.Cigarette butts outside Path and patio steps not safe and rocking. Rusty fying pan Corroded leaking batterys in remote Carpets threadbear on the stairs.I’ve got pictures of all of the above."

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s"

"Absolutely terrible experience couldn’t even get in to the property so had to travel all the way back to Manchester , spoke to a neighbour across the road and he took my number to contact me if the host comes along , I emailed him/her to call me but they didn’t back to to me "

"The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. Very well equipped for such a cosy space and the treats were much appreciated. Thank you "
