"Booked 3 rooms bed and breakfast for a family event. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The service from the bar staff and the breakfast ladies was great. Had some very nice wine at night and a lovely breakfast in the morning. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area not looking for city centre hotels."

"We chose a bad day to go, there was a Christmas fare on in a marquee in the grounds and the place was packed out with every available member of staff busy in the restaurant, so there was no one mannig the reception, so, we did as the notice on the door said and asked a member of staff to check us in, and although she was rushed of her feet she got us checked in along with another couple who had also arrived. "I stayed for 1 night whilst i had work at the hospital close by. It's above a pub but you can't hear the noise. Just a little bit of road traffic. The bed is comfortable and it's clean. Check in and check out was easy."
