After an initial problem with our room, we were instantly upgraded to a large room with a breathtaking view of Lion's Head and the sea. The staff at The Ritz are simply wonderful! "Very kind and accommodating staff. Was able to check me into my room early and let me keep my bags in storage before I checked in and after I checked out while I was waiting to go to the airport. Because the hotel is right next to the ocean the wind is very strong and it can get really loud. I had a hard time sleeping because it can be a little intense/ intimidating at first.
