"Shell Cottage is a hidden gem - not showy but definitely has all amenities, is authentic to the region and in a fabulous location to enjoy all that Camps Bay, Cape Town and the Peninsula has to offer.Privy, the housekeeper, provides a super service with a big smile wonderful and discreet.The only downside for us was that the pool water was soooo cold but we all still used it."

"Property dirty toilets cisterns broken,very old fashioned. Cutlery and utensils greasy and old . Totally misinterpreted online. Vrbo needs to look into this properly. Owner writes his own reviews. We left after an hour a real shame as we had just arrived in the country .please keep away you will be disappointed."

The original address was in Muizenberg, but didn’t get the actual address until 24 hours in advance. This address was in Kommetjie....this was super far away. "The property was great. The pool was clean. It came with a small washer and dryer to do laundry. They provided plenty of pool and big bath towels. There is no AC in the property so the upstairs gets pretty hot. You will have to open all windows and doors to cool the place down. Everything is upstairs except for the 2 smaller bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry area.The area appeared safe. It was extremely quiet, and you have 3 grocery stores and a few restaurants within walking distance. The beach...
