"We had an amazing time at this property! Julie was incredibly responsive when we needed to reach out for questions we had. The listing didn't do the property justice - it was MUCH larger and more spacious than the photos made it look - perfect for 10 high school / college friends to have a long weekend get together from all over the country! It was a very quick walk to all the shops and restaurants on Mirror Lake which made it easy for the group to come and go as we pleased. We highly recommend...

"Outstanding stay at the Mountain Rock Lodge for 4 nights. Theresa was a wonderful host providing great communication and really making us feel welcome. The home is clean and potentially even better than the pictures. Lots of bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and a great open main level to cook, dine, and hang out. "This is a great house and great property, big and private and the view is beautiful . Everything is very clean. We all loved the big mudroom in the entryway to drop our wet stuff. The fireplace inside was very cozy. The whole house is cozy. My only recommendation is to consider a queen/king bed in the basement as right now there are two twin beds and two bunk beds, which is great for kids, but not so great for adults/ couples. We will definitely book again."

"Myself, my husband, our two girls and our friends with their two boys stayed for a long weekend! It was in a great location to get to whiteface but also into Lake Placid.The house was exactly as shown if not better! Everything was beautifully decorated and cozy. The king bed and queen beds were really comfortable and none of the 4 kids said anything bad about their beds. The kids adventured on the river with some of the adults which was beautiful. "William's cabin was perfect for a quick ADK getaway! The home was more equipped than expected (we usually camp, so there were more amenities than we are used to having) and the location was perfect- close to hikes, Lake Placid, and easy to find. "This place doesn't dissapoint!Although it is located near other homes, it feels very private and isolated. The interior and exterior both have an amazing woodsy vibe and the entire place feels like someone cares about it rather than the sterile unloved energy I've come to expect from most vacation rentals.The check in/out process was seamless and the host couldn't have been more accommodating.Do yourself a favor and rent this place.
