"We had a wonderful stay in this recently remodeled house. The location was perfect -- just outside the hubbub of Lake Placid -- but close enough to make it convenient to run into town. The kitchen was recently remodeled and painted. The peninsula in the photos was removed, but wasn't missed. It opened up the room and plenty of counter space remains. "There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC.
