I recently stayed at the Waterfront Rooms at High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had a beautiful view of the water. The resort’s location is perfect—right in the heart of Lake Placid and just a short drive to Whiteface Mountain, making it an excellent choice for both relaxation and adventure. A special shoutout to Rodrigo at the reception desk, who went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check-in. His warm welcome and helpful attitude made a great first impression and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The staff overall were friendly and attentive, and the resort’s proximity to Main Street made it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. I highly recommend High Peaks Resort and look forward to visiting again!

I stayed at this resort numerous times and its my favourite in beautiful Lake Placid! The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is always polite, helpful and professional. The hotel is perfectly located right on the main street. The lobby with the fireplace and the bubbles just complete my stay and make a great souvenir...
