"Lovely, quiet and very unique property. The amenities were very thoughtful from Turkish cotton towels to minimum waste pour-over coffee in the room. There was no TV on the room which was a surprise. I don’t watch much TV but like to have it on in the morning while getting ready. I will be back!"

"Great location right at the end of town. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are clean, spacious and updated. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. They even had a puzzle and games in the lobby. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Lake Placid."

"The Devlin staff was welcoming and courteous. I'd suggest providing additional blankets in the room. It was frigid outside and having an extra blanket or two would provide warmth and coziness."

"Hotel staff was friendly, attentive and responsive to requests. Breakfast service at Marcy's was wonderful! Convient location for accessing the town. Only real negative was the parking. You need to more clearly communicate upfront the Valet parking is $22 per day and is the only realistic option while staying at your Hotel."

"Adorable and affordable lodge with friendly customer service. Our only issue was that one of the windows in our first floor room did not lock. The neighbors were also quite noisy in the morning. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay."

"Solid budget option ultra convenient in Lake Placid. No frills and she’s showing some age on the exterior, but don’t let that scare you away. Perfectly clean and very comfortable rooms great for an overnight."

"Great alternative to a hotel. Sharing a bathroom was fine-never an issue. Clean and comfortable, affordable setting with interesting history. Not posh or luxury and would strongly recommend!!"
