The home was more equipped than expected (we usually camp, so there were more amenities than we are used to having) and the location was perfect- close to hikes, Lake Placid, and easy to find. The interior and exterior both have an amazing woodsy vibe and the entire place feels like someone cares about it rather than the sterile unloved energy I've come to expect from most vacation rentals.The check in/out process was seamless and the host couldn't have been more accommodating.Do yourself a favor and rent this place. "Log Haven was a perfect place for us, our two grown children with spouses and our grand puppy! Often, there are 3 bedrooms but one room will have twin beds and that doesn’t fit our family. Great living area for everyone to spread out and to cook in. Since we were there for Christmas, it was so nice to come and see a Christmas tree which rarely happens! Thank you!"
