"This place is truly incredible! The photos don't even begin to capture how amazing it is in person. Everything was perfect during our stay, and the property management team was outstanding! so friendly and helpful! I honestly have no complaints. One tip: I’d recommend having a driver or renting a car, as the location is a bit off the beaten path, but other than that, I’d give it a solid 10/10 and highly recommend it!"

"We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this stunning beach villa and I highly recommend it! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the beauty surrounding us—both the villa & Sapodilla Bay are even more breathtaking in person than in the pictures. The views from every suite & living space were spectacular! This is, by far, the best beach on the island! The location is absolutely fantastic. The combination of a gorgeous beach, a private pool, and spacious verandas/patios made for the ultimate relaxing getaway. The house itself was impeccably clean & comfortable. The owners were so helpful and welcoming! Everything you needed was included. One evening we hired a private chef for dinner and that was a highlight of the trip! The sunsets are breathtaking and gorgeous! We rented a vehicle which made getting around the island so easy. Everything is within a 20 minute drive at the longest! We spent 2 half days on a boat snorkeling, lobster and conch diving which was so fun! Las Brisas is across the street. We had lunch there twice and spent the afternoon there by the pool on our last day after check out while waiting for our departure later in the day. If you are looking for the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, this beach villa offers it all. In short, this is the ideal place for anyone seeking an unforgettable, luxurious, and peaceful escape for all ages. The 2 separate living areas (up & down) worked out perfectly for our family! We cannot wait to return!"

"Great visit with friends in late January. Communication throughout was great. House was clean and is like the pictures. One big plus is the way the house is situated so the pool and beach are out of the wind. It was windy all week on the island but it never impacted us at our beach and pool. We really enjoyed spending time in the shallow water on our beach, enjoying the sunset from the deck, pool and spending time in the pergola. Rooms were nice but you don’t spend much time in them. We went to a few restaurants and enjoyed Bobs and Omar’s the best. Finally the private boat excursion with Doc and LJ was great and gave us a different perspective of the island. You can get their contact info from the VRBO host. The only potential negative is the beach has public access so occasionally others sit in your beach chairs but the security does a good job kicking them out so it’s not a big deal. "SulMare is just simply amazing! A beautiful villa with a private pool and steps to what amounts basically to your own beach. Uncrowded, serene setting just steps from the slider. All amenties are well supplied including a dual kayak and stand up paddle board. Sapodilla Bay is the perfect beach for solo travellers, couples or with children. Check in was a breeze and Julian, our host was awesome. Feom the moment we landed he was in touch and he welcomed us upon arrival. Do not hesitate to book a stay at SulMare.
