Tree House Atmosphere on Chalk Sound National Park

Villa Poinciana is a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1300 square foot house with covered decks wrapping around both buildings. The surrounding foliage engulfs the wooden structures.

Located in the quiet southwest corner of Providenciales near Sapodilla Bay, this charming villa is situated on the water's edge of scenic Chalk Sound National Park, a Turks and Caicos Island wildlife sanctuary.

Villa Poinciana is two separate but connected West Indies style wooden structures nestled comfortably into the natural flora and rock formations of the Chalk Sound shoreline. Poinciana comes with thre kayaks for your enjoyment exploring the islands in Chalk Sound.

One building contains the living room, kitchen, dining area and a full bath; and the other, two large bedrooms both with en-suite baths creating a tree-house atmosphere that is enhanced by the connecting wooden walkways and surrounding tropical plants. The many decks and connecting walkways offer sweeping views of a brilliant turquoise blue water you will remember forever.

Poinciana can comfortably accommodate a party of 4. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room appropriate for an extra child or adults and a sleeping loft in the guest suite. Despite Poinciana's Swiss Family Robinson appearance, it has the modern conveniences of flat screen TVs, wireless internet, and bluetooth audio speakers for your enjoyment. The property has everything you need! Pack your swimwear, your flip-flops and some casual clothes for dining out. Views from the porches were stunning. Especially as the light changed throughout the day. Colin was quick to respond to questions.

We so enjoyed our stay at Poinciana! We loved the fresh chill vibes of the house and the location was perfect for us. Sapodilla and Taylor bay were our favorite beaches we visited. Magical spot
Couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for our family vacation. Absolutely beautiful setting on the turquoise waters of Chalk Sound. Everything we needed was provided for a very comfortable stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable and had their own bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. There are three kayaks which we used daily. Plenty of beach towel & floats. We hope to return next year for another bit of paradise!

Had an amazing time at Poinciana. Loved the multiple deck levels and views. Separate sleeping and living area building made property feel much larger and spread out which we loved. Property had everything we needed for a week long trip. Can’t wait to go back.

Poinciana is a beautiful place to stay. It is clean, comfortable and the view is stunning. The home is supplied with all the water toys you need to enjoy a day on the sound. Kayaks, snorkels, tubes, paddle boards and more! The endless breeze makes the temperature pleasant. I highly recommend this home. It is truly special.

Family getaway
Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at this villa. Situated right on Chalk Sound, it provided the perfect setting for kayaking adventures and easy access to Taylor Beach, which offered all the amenities we needed, from chairs and umbrellas to toys and a cooler, conveniently provided by the villa. The property lived up to its listing advertisement, and the host was incredibly responsive to any inquiries or needs we had. While the windy conditions around Chalk Sound were occasionally noticeable, the expansive deck surrounding the building provided a comfortable retreat. Additionally, the main bedroom was well-equipped with a small folding sofa and a crib, making our stay even more accommodating for our family.

Beautiful Location
Amazing views of Chalk Sound, relaxing atmosphere, walk to beach, short drive to coral reefs at waters’ edge, and great restaurants all around. Only one complaint about this treehouse retreat, ants come out in the kitchen at night. The beauty of this place outweighs the ant problem by far! It’s paradise!

This property is absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed at the house and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere most days. We enjoyed the feeling of complete privacy while having plenty to do from kayaking and floating in the water to sunning on the lounge chairs on the deck. Of all the houses we’ve stayed in on TCI this is the first one we said we’d return to again.

Fantastic family vacation
Our whole family had a great time enjoying the kayaks, trips to the local beaches and sightseeing around the island. We would definitely stay here again! While the two bedrooms are in the same building, they do not connect inside. The outside doors are very close to one another though. This may be an issue for families with smaller children.

Beautiful, relaxing villa!
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Poinciana. The home is exactly how it looks in the pictures and better. We loved the views, all of the porches, and outdoor leisure space. Everything was clean and well maintained and we enjoyed using the kayaks, paddleboard, and other beach gear. The location was very quiet but still close to what we wanted to see and do. We had a rental car and pretty much drove all over the island. The owner provided a lot of helpful information about the villa and area prior to our arrival and any questions we had during our stay (not many) were quickly answered. We would definitely stay here again - beautiful home and island!!!

Fabulous Stay on Chalk Sound!
Villa Poinciana was just perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenage boys). magnificent setting on Chalk Sound with great kayaking available right from the house. We kayaked several times to a fantastic restaurant Las Brisas. Very comfortable villa with separate sleeping quarters- every room has stunning views. Two beautiful beaches are within walking distance. Many thanks to Colin for making it so easy to rent and to Denise for meeting us at the airport and giving us wonderful tips on what to see on the island!

Paradise
Family of four (daughters 17 and 19) split our time between a condo on Grace bay and this property. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and the views were beautiful. Beds were comfortable and everything was well appointed from bathrooms to kitchen. Use of kayaks and paddle board were awesome. Taylor Bay a short walk away was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend having a car. Only downside is everyone seems to love this place and is booked way out as already thinking of returning.

Excellent for a long holiday
We booked this property after friends had a great experience last spring. We stayed for two weeks and had a terrific time. The amenities are quite comfortable, including kitchen supplies, beach toys, and kayaks/paddle boards. You can tell the owner has really thought of everything for hosting guests. We travelled with an infant and felt very safe in the house and neighborhood. The property is a 5-minute walk from two amazing beaches that are perfect for young children - no waves and shallow water for ~ 100 meters from shore. A car is helpful to explore the island/go out for meals away from the house. Finally, the owner is exceptionally responsive, replying to messages quickly and professionally. He makes you feel cared for as a guest in the property.

Beautiful place in Chalk Sound
We really enjoyed our stay in the Chalk Sound. We have been to T&C 3 times, and this was one of the best! We kayaked every day, walked over to Taylor Bay beach,( which is the most beautiful beach area!) We had a car so getting around the island and restaurants was a snap. The house has EVERYTHING! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you'll need. There are plenty of beach towels, and swim equipment. The bedrooms, in a separate building was different, but it works. Colin sends all the instructions for the home and we had zero issues. Would definitely rent here again!

Fantastic
This place was amazing! We were there with 3 adults and 2 children (ages 7 & 4) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The lush vegetation gives you a private island feel. The kids loved the tiny beach the house has and exploring the coral rock around it. The kayaks were a hit as well. We used the kitchen quite a bit and found everything we would need. And for those who need it the internet always worked great. Because it was super windy while we were there, Sapodilla Bay (which is right down the road) was our favorite spot. Taylor Bay was also super close and a fantastic place to visit. I highly recommend this house if you go to Provo!
