"Run down. Not worth more than $20 per night. No vent in bathroom, things don’t dry out. The staff is nice, the location is good, but that does not make up for the extremely dated look of the property. My room looked nothing like the photo. I felt I was staying at a crack house. I booked in advance for 5 days. Had to leave after 2 nights. The also lost power for about 10 hours. If you stay in the front room street traffic may keep you awake at night."

"I have mixed feelings about this hotel, it has one of the best guest book, it shows they care about their guests, and the hotel is in a beautiful old house, high ceilings, nice yard, lots of space for social, group activities, but on the other hand, it seems lack of maintenance in the room, at least the room I was in, wall sockets are old, my charging plug kept falling off，the hair dryer didn’t work, no lamp on the night stand, all small things, but shouldn’t happen in a Boutique hotel, I hope...
