"Hotel Hacienda Merida is a charming, well maintained boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the room was cleaned to perfection each day. "Room was very clean, had air conditioning and a comfy bed. Service was outstanding, they accommodated an early check in when we showed up and were helpful with all requests we had. We were able to park our truck with pop up camper under the carport, and although not entirely secure, it worked perfectly for us. Was a lovely place to stay!"

"Beautiful hotel, staff very friendly, made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. Pool si very small. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel at ground level so expect some traffic noise, if you are a light sleeper maybe you better look for a different option, for us it was not an issue and we enjoyed every minute we spent there. Can’t wait to visit them again. Thanks."

Gem in centro

"Loved this little gem in the middle of centro. Beautiful garden are with hammocks and sun beds and a pool, good bar service, nice breakfast buffet and great greeting service from the valet and front desk. Rooms are huge, I had one with the jacuzzi tub that I used twice. Good a/c, lots of water and nice and quiet. Will definitely stay again! "

"This hotel was very nice, the staff was always helpful and courteous. It is a beautiful historic building which they have preserved its uniqueness and beauty, but it doesn't have any of the modern amenities. If you are on the second floor, be ready to do some good exercise by climbing the steps several times a day as you need it. The main building doesn't have central A/C, and it stays for the most part cool, but Merida is extremely hot. The rooms have an AC unit, but our room's a/c didn't work well. We liked the convenient location, just a block from Central Park where most of the activity is happening. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. "
