"Adjoining the two-story bank of rooms and the lobby/breakfast-dining-tables is a dense jungle where tropical birds chirp. An attractive setting. My single-bed room could have been brighter with stronger light bulbs, but when I requested a lamp to see my laptop keyboard, the desk clerk quickly and cheerfully supplied one. I probably should have asked for a wash cloth for showering, but that's a basic necessity. The bathroom-sink faucet had little pressure and the shower water was barely lukewarm...

"This property was used for a one night stayover before a flight. It was perfect and convenient for this where bags didn’t need to be unpacked much. The place was clean and the homeliness offered an opportunity to meet and make new connections if desired. "I had an amazing time with my boyfriend for six nights in July. The host was extremely attentive, both before my stay and during. Despite summer being rainy season, the property is still great because many of the areas are covered, creating a beautiful green and relaxing environment when it rains in the evenings. "The price is not worth what they offer. There was no ventilation or tv in the room. Just a very tiny desk and chair. Hot shower was not working, they had to come help and get it fix 30 mins so we could shower. If the price was lower I understand what they offer is limited, but not worth even the $60 the night."

"This was a real gem to find and provided an enjoyable place to stay on an unplanned trip to San Jose. Only 4 blocks to the US Embassy/Consulate which was the purpose of our trip. "This property was amazing , beautiful setup . Street that it was on was very empty not much traffic. Police do casual just stroll pass but it makes you feel really safe!!! Only downside is reception doesn’t speak English , they are very kind but you will need translation app if you or your group doesn’t speak Spanish. You do need reservation for jacuzzi but that can be booked downstairs in lobby. I would definitely stay again"
