"Adjoining the two-story bank of rooms and the lobby/breakfast-dining-tables is a dense jungle where tropical birds chirp. An attractive setting. My single-bed room could have been brighter with stronger light bulbs, but when I requested a lamp to see my laptop keyboard, the desk clerk quickly and cheerfully supplied one. I probably should have asked for a wash cloth for showering, but that's a basic necessity. The bathroom-sink faucet had little pressure and the shower water was barely lukewarm...

"This property was used for a one night stayover before a flight. It was perfect and convenient for this where bags didn’t need to be unpacked much. The place was clean and the homeliness offered an opportunity to meet and make new connections if desired. The breakfast provided in the morning was a great holdover meal and staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel close to the airport. They offer an airport shuttle for $5 (only leaving from the hotel) and breakfast is available for $11. The hotel works well for a quick overnight stay in San Jose before flying out or when flying back into the country and not wanting to make the long drive home at night. The hotel is behind a tall motorized gate and also within a small cul de sac that is also gated so it feels safe. We did not partake of the breakfast so we can't...

"The price is not worth what they offer. There was no ventilation or tv in the room. Just a very tiny desk and chair. Hot shower was not working, they had to come help and get it fix 30 mins so we could shower. If the price was lower I understand what they offer is limited, but not worth even the $60 the night."

"This was a real gem to find and provided an enjoyable place to stay on an unplanned trip to San Jose. Only 4 blocks to the US Embassy/Consulate which was the purpose of our trip. "This property was amazing , beautiful setup . Street that it was on was very empty not much traffic. Police do casual just stroll pass but it makes you feel really safe!!! Only downside is reception doesn’t speak English , they are very kind but you will need translation app if you or your group doesn’t speak Spanish. You do need reservation for jacuzzi but that can be booked downstairs in lobby. I would definitely stay again"
