"The hotel was in a good position for Ripon’s attractions ie the cathedral and the old town with its cafes and eating facilities. The rooms were fresh looking and away from the pub in a separate stable block and were self contained but as the property had just been taken over and the pub itself was being refurbished I can’t comment on the food etc ."

"extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, The only criticism would be the dinner which was not very hot and when reheated was dry. The breakfast wad tasty but once again not hot enough."
