"I loved everything about this hotel. It is nearly new, great breakfasts, quiet and attractive inside and out. They communicated with me quickly and clearly when I had questions before my visit. What I liked best was the camaraderie of the team. They act like a close family. Yale really stands out. Great English, always happy to help. She went above and beyond to get my new phone setup when my old one was pickpocketed. Thanks everyone! Be careful! Old town feels very safe, even at night. But the pickpockets are very skilled."

"The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"

"Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza. "
