"Wantara is a little haven in the city--- unique gardens, tastefully designed apartments (they thought of everything---including really comfy down pillows and duvets), and a good location with easy access to historic Quito. But the real treasures are the hosts. Both Wolfgang and Yannick were not only hosts but instant friends looking our for us---there to help navigate the city and give us great advice about how to best spend our time. Yannick gave us his WhatsApp and more than once helped get us...

"We loved our week in Quito. Yannik, Gina, Wolfgang and Annemarie answered all of our questions about where to go and what to see. They arranged a driver (Cristobal - 5 stars!) to take us to see places outside of the city and made sure we got back from the soccer game safely! I’m a wheelchair user (I can walk some) and would hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who has difficulty walking. The entrance is not wheelchair friendly and the most accessible room is multilevel without hand rails."
