"It was ok, photos not representative of the pod, very tired inside, there was a bad musty smell in the cabin and all the signs up about no noise or being in the hot tub and no music after half 10 but the next door pod to us were still blasting music at midnight. So glad I brought my own pillow as well as they were rock hard. Just felt it’s not as advertised. Needs an update."

"The lodges are very well designed and attractive with good amenities, however it could do with a lot of TLC, the walls were all marked/scuffed, everywhere needed a good paint job. Wasn’t the cleanest of properties with debris on the floor downstairs which I hoovered up. Bedrooms neat and tidy with fresh bedding and towels. Jacuzzi was lovely and well maintained. Just a little more time spent on cleaning and maintenance and it would have been percect"

"We stayed in Tuilip Lodge for 4 nights as a little break visiting relatives in the locality. The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! The hot tub was an added bonus and...

"The lodge was clean and tidy,milk and half dozen fantastic free range eggs provided.The owner called with some sausages and to see if we had settled in ok and was everything to our satisfaction.He was also very knowledgeable and had many personal recommendations of where the best eatery were.Would definitely go back the setting was so peaceful."
