"First stay at this location and first at "Lifestyle" properties. This was an outstanding place to stay, wife and me. Is a gated community with private home villas, rooms, suites, many pools, bars, casino, and stadium that has daily night shows (not great). The staff was overall very friendly and courteous. The only downside is that you have to catch transportation, free shuttle, to get to the different places within this huge facility. The beach area is very rocky. We stayed 1-3 April 20225, and the sea was very rough with high waves, maybe due to the time of year. The suites, are awesome, super big, clean and A/C extremely cold. The bars are kind of poor on drink selection but they do try to accommodate all the orders. In short, we wills stay again and I recommend this stay."

"I loved the attention to detail in rooms. I disliked the pressure to purchase excursions and vacation program. Additionally the amount of vendors offering wears and services on the beach. "

"In my opinion, one of the best hotels in the Puerto Plata area. It is well maintained and cared for, kept clean, beautiful and well designed, lots of comfortable areas to hang out, the rooms have good sound proofing, love the balconies, rooms have enough space for clothes, hangers included. Lots of hot water for showers, rooms have a small fridge and a safe. Nice newer tv's with a variety of channels, a few English. The main pools area is spacious and beautiful, and there is a quieter pool in the adjacent building. The inclusive menu is varied with a good variety of meat, fish, veg, local fruits, a pasta and pizza station, and lots of tasty desserts. The beach area is nice, with a few snorkel spots with some beautiful fish. The property is right next to a professionally designed golf course, a plaza with some nice stores, and an interesting bar where one can watch hockey games in the evening. I love the staff at GV. They are all very, friendly and helpful. Muchas gracias!"

"The room was comfortable and had a good view of the golf course. The service, especially at the restaurants, was fantastic. Easy access to the beach, and the chill music by the cabanas was relaxing. "

"Had a great time at the property and the food was great too. The number of restaurants were limited though and they all aren't open always so had some terrible getting some bookings in. The guest help desk was able to hook us up with some reservations when we requested them but couldn't get it ourselves on the app. Overall experience was great and the staff was very accommodating but I wish they had more number of events throughout the day (especially in the open) to keep the Caribbean vibe alive throughout."

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The orchid garden is peaceful and sublime. The absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff. Everyone from check in, Jose and Claudia, to check out was fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent with superb attention to detail, the wait staff were patient and knowledgeable and the beach staff was accommodating and friendly. The night security guard even got cushions for us so we could stargaze in comfort! It was a wonderful visit for me and my elderly parents. Thank you! We will be back!! "
