"A generally all round good find in the town centre with everything walkable to the Málecon it's cafes & restaurants & also a supermarket. Equally to the centre of the San Felipe district for coffee,shops and the central square. The hotel itself is billed as a 2* but is better than that. It is clean & secure with a 24 hour reception & a small car park attached. It has lovely rooftop terrace with a bar open from 6pm local time with amazing views over Puerto Plata & accesible from the 2nd floor...

"Enjoyed our stay mostly due to staff, especially the entertainment crew who put on great shows every night. Rooms were fine, but when it rained there were drips from the roof! Strangely they charged our companions to reprogram card keys that stopped working, although I wasn't charged. The food was good, but it does get tiring to eat similar things every day.
