"A wonderful and warm welcome and greeting by Leonor. Her English is excellent and made us feel very welcome. Later in the evening, there are a few - possibly homeless people around the street. They do not seem bad though and mind their own business. The Mercator do Balhão is just down the road. Amazing experience and great restaurants on then top level. The lower level has souvenirs and fresh seafood and wine-tasting stations. "

"What you would expect from a 5 star hotel: great service great breakfast buffet, and large, comfortable rooms. This hotel is also in a perfect central location to all the Porto sights! It was Easter during our stay, and when we arrived back at the hotel at night, they had left a note with chocolate eggs and a traditional, Portuguese Easter cake for us!"

"We booked a suite and it was lovely. The suite came with a welcome snack. It was clean, spacious and had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with wide variety of options. It's located somewhat away from the center but it's still within walking distance, plus it had a view of the river :) We loved our stay here!"
