"This really is a 'leading hotel of the world'. I've been privileged enough to stay in some top hotels around the world and this was one of my favourites. Pristine inside and out. The pool area is stunning. Great bars and dining options. I liked the Galaxia Sky Bar which has fantastic views. Within a very short walk there are some nice restaurants and bars around the hotel. "Perfect location, delicious and huge variety of foods in every day breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable, yes the water drain slow in shower and sink sometimes so be patient"

"Excellent boutique hotel with very good food in an excellent location in Funchal with easy access to restaurants and bars. The decor was great. The only small criticisms are that there is nowhere to put clothes (drawers or wardrobes) in the room and some of the breakfast servers were a slow at serving, otherwise excellent."
