"This place is an older home but it is clean. There is amazing woodwork throughout the house. It is secluded and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with paper towels. 😀 No paper towels or napkins at any of the places we stayed except this place. I guess I am pretty dependent on my paper towels. "

"The house was perfect. We had our two kids (3 & 5) and my dad with us and the three bedroom house was great. Well furnished, clean, and the host Daniela was amazing. The location took us a minute to find (Waze and Google Maps don’t have accurate directions) but Daniela gave us a video of the route showing where to turn. Once we found it, it was easy. "Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"Our host Diego was very helpful with giving us information about the area. The house was absolutely beautiful and well kept. Could accommodate large families as it’s very spacious. Beautifully landscaped yard with outdoor eating area and bbq. The house was stocked with everything you might need. We could use their double car garage. We had a very enjoyable stay!"

"Incredible views, couldn't have stayed long enough. We woke up before the sun and enjoyed the morning in the Jacuzzi with fresh coffee. The only thing I would recommend is buying groceries before making the drive, so you don't have to leave."

"Rockstar is a gorgeous property, well appointed, comfortable, clean, secure, and has beautiful views. The best thing about this property is Sky and his attention to detail! He was amazing with directions and was highly communicative as we were arriving. That made us feel so comfortable. He provided some snacks and food so when we came in late, we had something to eat and then coffee and breakfast food for the morning. He also provided ponchos, umbrellas, binoculars, sunscreen and bug spray...

"Just like everyone has stated, this property is beautiful. The property is very well maintained. It is like one big garden with lots of flowers and walking paths. The paths that go through the forest and also down to the lake are very enjoyable to walk along. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. The house stayed cool with the windows open. We had 7 of us there and had plenty of room. We didn't have any issues at all and really enjoyed the place. I would not hesitate to go...

"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna. The Butterfly Conservatory is magical and within walking distance. We had a great and inexpensive meal at Ventamita Cafe as we enjoyed the view. We went to La Fortuna for...
