"Stayed for four nights and absolutely had an amazing time in the La Fortuna area and at this property. Everything was very well maintained, clean, and cared for. Property grounds are immaculate - as others have mentioned - photos do not do it justice. We saw large iguanas and a sloth on the property, which was an unexpected treat. "Our family had a great time in La Fortuna! The check in process was straightforward and Karen was very responsive anytime we needed to contact her. We had a little issue with the safe and Karen arrived within the hour to give us the key and resolve the issue. The air conditioning worked well, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was as described. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"It was a great place to experience LaFortuna. It was close enough to enjoy the restaurants and shops downtown without having to deal with traffic and noise. There were plenty of nearby soda's that were also delicious. It was only a short drive to the Waterfall and the hot springs. "

"The location is within walking distance of many things. The manager is wonderful with communication. I planned an itinerary and sent it to him, he booked all the excursions with pick up at the house - it was perfect. "Great house, with lots of room, sleeping space and bathrooms. The deck is wonderful. We spent lots of time up there, bird watching, taking pictures of the volcano, playing games. Only thing that could be improved is the safety of the stairs, they don’t have handrails and the material makes it hard to distinguish stair edges. Since living space is upstairs you can’t avoid using them."
