"Very well run operation by Yami and her family. They treated us like family. I recommend you opt in for the delicious breakfast each morning. Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place. "

"This house was amazing! It was right in the jungle and absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed the nature around the home especially in the early morning when all the birds and monkeys were waking up. The home is very close to La fortuna city center and all the hot springs. I would definitely here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay, family of 5. We enjoyed the wellness walk and all of the beautiful landscaping and foliage that attracts the nature that surrounds you. Make sure you get to the 10 spot to enjoy the ancient tree. We loved having coffee on the deck around the master upstairs, watching birds of every color and type, we even saw toucan and green parrots in the tree. Has binoculars available also. Had everything we needed including bottled jugs of water when first getting to the property....

"My husband and teenage son and myself had the most enjoyable time. We were greeted with a warm Pure Vida welcome and given recommendations. We had a wonderful time and loved the property. We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay at a big resort. Total local vibe and immersed in the culture. Gracious and Pure Vida!"

"This house is just as advertised. Beautiful, clean, and quiet. We stayed with a group of 9 and loved it. We saw a sloth in the tree right outside the house. In the 16 days we spent in Costa Rica this was the best view we got of one! Watched it for an hour. La Fortuna waterfall was amazing as well as the hot springs. You will love this house."

"Just rent this house now and don't look elsewhere! Amazing view from the property. We saw a toucan, monkeys, coatis, agoutis, and other birds right from the porch. Close to everything in town and attractions. We had great communication with Daniela the host, and she arranged great guided tours for us. A truly incredible propety."

"What an incredible home with Beautiful decor, incredible comfort and stunning views. Oscar is absolutely fantastic, always responsive and truly outstanding and extremely accommodating. This villa has everything! And the beds are super comfortable. The views are incredible and the home is close to town but you do need a car. We loved our stay here and would totally come back. "This house nestled as close as possible to the Monteverde Cloud Forest is nothing short of a wildlife paradise. In the morning, you can hear the calls of toucans, motmots, and howler monkeys. At least six species of hummingbirds visited our feeders every day, and coatis and agoutis were a common sight. The scenic view of the trees and ocean from the second floor deck was amazing. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants an authentic Costa Rican experience."

"What a unique and magical place! The bubble is really beautiful. Elegantly decorated, luxurious bedding, well equipped kitchen. And the view. Wow the view. Can’t be beat. The hot tub was a fun spot to sit with a drink and view that view from! Easy drive to town for dinner (great recommendations from Tony and Mary) and 5 minutes from our cloud forest adventure tours. Everything about this rental was perfect! Thanks for sharing this slice of paradise with us! "

"Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. We especially loved the pool and terrace where we sat and played games each night as a family. The caretaker brought us to visit a sloth on the property and we were invited to walk the...

"We loved our stay. Close to Monteverde for lots of outings. It only takes about 15 min to drive. We enjoyed our walks with Bella the Shepard through the coffee fields and listening to Coco the blue and gold macaw call for her back. Ken was great and always available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)"

"Manoa was excellent overall. I travelled with my elderly mom and we had a great time. Everything is handicapped accessible. The rooms wer spacious and clean. Our view was fantastic. The food was awesome with a great selection. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back to this same location. Well done Manoa!"

"The rooms are very nice and very clean. Nice quiet atmosphere. Included breakfast was very good. 5 minute walk to downtown, lots of resturants to choose from as well as shopping. Locals were nice too. Would definetly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay"

"Our little cabin was a great base for my 2 kids and I to explore Monteverde. Beds were very comfortable (but helpful to have earplugs for the fierce winds at night!) and breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Since we had rented a car, it was nice to stay somewhere with convenient parking for coming in and out while also being within easy walking distance of town. "
